Our Group

The aim of the Group is to enjoy art in all its forms. To this end members volunteer to give presentations of their choice from all genres of visual art. We have the occasional guest speaker and arrange visits to galleries and museums.

If you would like to join the Art Appreciation Group then please click on the link against ‘Coordinator’ above to send an email. You will be welcome to attend as a guest for 1 meeting as a taster. All members of the group are required to be members of Coquetdale u3a or a u3a with which Coquetdale has an agreement.

We meet on the 1st Thursday of the month at 2pm in the Cheviot Room, Jubilee Institute, Bridge Street, Rothbury NE65 7SD. Members pay £2 per session towards the room hire charge and refreshments
