Membership runs fro the 1st of April to the 31st March, and will cost £10 for the 2026/2027 year. New members who join from January 2027 will pay £5 for the remainder of the membership year.
You are allowed to attend two interest group taster sessions before taking out membership, please contact the group coordinator directly from the relevant group. You can find this from the group's page, accessible from the Groups tab above. The only requirement in becoming a member of the Coquetdale u3a is that you should not be in full time employment.
Joining
To join the u3a please download and complete the form below and either email it to coquetdaleu3atreasurer@gmail.com or alternatively copy the completed form and paste it to the u3a Treasurer contact page. The 2026/27 application form will be available soon, please continue to use the 2025/2026 form until then.
Payment
New members: please do not send your payment until you have submitted an application form, so that we know who you are! When your form has been acknowledged by the Treasure or Membership Secretary, please go ahead with you payment.
We prefer payment via bank transfer. If you prefer to pay by cheque please contact the treasurer using the email address or contact page above.

We must have a reference for the money, otherwise we won’t know who has paid! So please enter your name (surname first followed by first 3 letters of your name, so for John Smith you would enter SmithJoh); where there are 2 members paying from the same account please add 1st 3 letters of your partner’s name, so for John and Eileen Smith you would enter SmithJohEil.
Renewals
Existing members will receive a reminder when the next year's payment is required and what the charge for the following year will be. There is no need to complete a new application form unless your details have changed. Please make payment as described above. Please do not send payment for the following year before 1st April.
